Comparing People
Sunday, November 30th, 2008I haven’t signed on Facebook for a while these days. I am writing a lot on my blog, which automatically transfers to Facebook note, but other than that, I tend to avoid spending too much time in front of my laptop. Of course, it is hard…
Anyway, as I logged in today, there was a notification of comparison application saying that I had been compared for three times in last 24 hours, winning ‘who is better at science,’ ‘who is more tech-savvy,’ and ‘who is a happier person.’ With my unstoppable curiosity, I checked the application page to see my ranking. It was fun to see how people think about me, especially when people think I would make a better father but less attractive… lol
However, I had to resist against adding the application to my profile and comparing other people. I do not feel comfortable to compare my friends although the data would be kept anonymous. Still it is fun to read how people compare me… such a contradiction here. lol
